Hurricane Sandy Coastal Restoration / Renovation
These Photos were taken from the multi-level deck and interior of a home still under reconstruction as part of a renovation project. As you can see, it is located on the coast and has exposure to high surf. The home experienced significant structural damage from Hurricane Sandy. I communicated with the owner several times until we devised a scheme for the subsequent restoration and renovation project. CRS Connecticut Reconstruction Services understands that design to enhance the aesthetics of the property and reduce the likelihood of repeated storm damage must be paired with functionality. We elevated the structure above the estimated high-water mark of a storm surge at high tide and kept within the allotted budget, further satisfying our client.
